Tony Bayer is the editorial cartoonist for The News-Dispatch in Michigan City, Indiana. He's been cartooning since he was a kid. Tony graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Liberal Arts and a Government major in 1998. With computerization of graphic arts, Tony decided to shift gears and pursue a career in that field, where perhaps he could also get cartoons published. After about a year of furthering his education while working at a printshop in Valparaiso, he landed a job as a graphic designer at The Michigan City News-Dispatch and a southwest Michigan weekly, Harbor Country News. In 2003 he started submitting editorial cartoons, and so far, so good. Tony's cartooning is featured in Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year, 2005 - 2008 editions.
